Let's Get Creative
I found lot of flowers in a row this past week. It seems they all wanted to be on Pat's Things in a Row.
Thursday also means it's time for some questions with Thursday Two Questions.
Let's talk about creativity this week. We all have different interests and ways of expressing ourselves. I of course enjoy photography and reading. I also spend a lot of time doing genealogy and I'm very interested in technology.
1) What are some of your hobbies?
2) How do you get your creative juices flowing?
Bonus question: If money was not an issue, what is the one hobby or interest you would like to explore?

1) I knit and crochet hats and scarves to relax as I make up my own patterns. Nowadays, I read on how to be better on taking pictures, and went out to practice what I've learned.
2) I found that my creative juices start flowing when I'm reading something with the thought that I can do it better, or I can do it that way/this way/my way, and then just get right to it.
If money wasn't an issue, I would really love to travel to Rome.
I run an Etsy's shop selling my hand made pillows and fabric, so this is my hobby, and my creative way to get the juices flowing.
If financially able, I would like to hire a chef..Not fond of cooking :-)
I love daisies!!
1. I'm a blogging, reading, crocheting, cat loving, walking, photo taking fool
2. Unfortunately I have no trouble my brain doesn't have an off switch.
Bonus:
GIVE MONEY TO EVERY ANIMAL SHELTER IN NORTH CAROLINA

Getting my body moving usually helps me think creatively. My blog friends help, too. Reading interesting and informative books makes me think in different ways.
I pretty much indulge in all the creative things I'd like to do, but if I had unlimited money, I would buy a home overlooking the sea and get a weekly massage! :-)
i love daisies and these are wonderful.
my hobbies are in this order, Reading, Photography, Computer (blog/email/edit photos)all three of which i do every day of my life unless i am ill. if money were no object, i would not add a hobby, but i sure would buy that a new camera that is just out, but that is like thousands counting the lens.
OR i would buy the 1700.00 lens for long long distance and the 700 dollar lens for macro...expand the hobby. also I would love to tour the western half of the USA and meet all my blogger friends that live out there.
Some of my hobbies include photography and rubber stamp art. The landscape around me is generally all the inspiration I need for shooting a creative photo and as for my rubberstamping I often time look to the net for a little inspiration. I hope as soon as begin with my art journal my creative juices will kick in and I can make my own way without having to rely on outside inspiration, you know? Well just wait and see what happens.
Just making my daily blog hop rounds. I hope you'll decide to join in today's post: Krispy Kreme & Images of a Summer Night Have a good day!
Love the flowers! :)
I enjoy surfing the net, reading, photography, watching TV. I'm not too active with my fibromyalgia acting up!
I can't seem to plant flowers all in a row.
My hobbies and this is in order, are painting, (wish I could do this everyday), furniture restoration, (born from the painting)paper arts, such as bookbinding, love this just not enough time in the day, and also means I'd need to clean up my painting area to have a spot to work in. Reading, gardening, sewing.
If money was not an issue I'd build a sun room with and ever expanding ceiling with one of those rolly ladders and have my books way high, and be able to climb up in a cubby and read with natural daylight while my paint dries.
i draw - mostly colored pencil.
if i see someone photograph of a bird or animal, sometimes i am moved to draw from it.
i think i'd go back to horseback lessons.
horse showing, sewing, mosaics, reading, fishing, gardening.....i'm sure i left out something
jump into the middle of my materials and see what happens
All our flowers are wilting under this heat! For me, my hobby is of course photography and genealogy. To get my juices flowing I have just begun to learn how to create an Art Journal and this is really helping me to move outside the box and color outside the lines...which is very difficult for me.
Wow, that is a beautiful shot!
1. Hobbies. I read, dance, blog :)
I think I want to sew again. I am not certain that I like it but every now and then I get the need to be creative.
2. Sometimes it just comes. Or maybe I read something, or saw something or heard something and bam! :)
Aloha.
Love the daisies. I planted some yesterday. My hobbies are photography, photobooks, gardening and reading. To get inspiration I look at other people's work or go for a walk. If I had unlimited funds I would travel to all the places I haven't seen yet.
1) Gees, you've asked a question that I could go on forever. I love gardening, as you know...I love to cook gourmet food, Thai, Vietnamse, Italian, some American...pizza...scratch that, I think that's also Italian.
I love to restore things, if I had more time. I have been really dieing to restore some junk furniture I picked up on the streets...yep. You asked...smiles.
2) Lately, I am so doomed about blogging, but hopefully, I can manage to catch-up. I just see other blogs and get so inspired by their dedication, and the time they put in, then I say, I wanna be that...smiles.
I enjoy taking pictures of family, animals and anything pretty. I also enjoy thrift stores and if money were no object I'd like to open thrift stores all over. They would be there to help animals and people in need. I feel there is so much waste and yet we have so many people in need of what others throw out...sad. Also I would love to cruise straight up the east coast with my family on a road trip. I think that would be a blast! And of course fly all my blogger friends to a huge cabin in NC mountains and have fun! I'll do all of these things after I win the lottery. :)
i´m out of order. my dad died. so there will be some more hard weeks. thanks for asking ♥
Judy, I have too many interests and too little time. I love sewing, crafts, crocheting, drawing, writing, woodworking and am always starting a new project. Nothing gets the juices flowing faster than need.
